Skaltorix is not affiliated with, associated with, authorised by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Woodbine Entertainment Group, to any operator, hotel or restaurant located on the Woodbine property, to the Toronto Transit Commission, Metrolinx / GO Transit or MiWay, or to Google or Apple. All of those organisations are described here from the outside, on the basis of publicly available information.

Where this site links to woodbine.com, it does so purely as a reference to the authoritative source for schedules and site policies. That link creates no relationship between us and them.

Trademarks and names

"Woodbine", "King's Plate", "Queen's Plate", "Woodbine Mile", "Canadian International", "E.P. Taylor", venue and room names, transit brand names and any logos remain the property of their respective owners. They appear on this site in descriptive, editorial use — to identify the places and events being written about — which does not imply ownership or any commercial relationship. No third-party logo is used as this site's own mark: the Skaltorix symbol in the header and the favicon are original work created for this project.

Photograph credits and licences

This site publishes no invented or generated imagery. Every photograph is a real photograph of the location, obtained from a public archive or a freely licensed source, credited in its caption and listed again here. Archival frames have been cropped for presentation; no photograph has had content added to it or removed from it.

Attribution requirements of each licence are met in the caption beside each image and in this table. If you are the rights holder of any photograph here and consider the attribution incomplete or the use outside the licence, write to us and we will correct or remove it.

Copyright complaints

To report material on this site that you believe infringes your rights, send the following to [email protected]:

• The exact URL of the page and a description of the material concerned.
• A description of the work you hold rights in, and the basis of those rights.
• Your name and a working contact address.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised.

Complete notices are handled within 24 to 48 hours. Where the claim is plausible the material is taken down first and discussed afterwards; we have no interest in keeping a disputed photograph online.

Editorial standards

• No invented reviews, testimonials, ratings or visitor counts appear anywhere on this site.
• No countdown timers, activity notifications or urgency devices are used.
• Time-sensitive facts are dated and attributed to the season they were published for.
• Where a detail could not be verified, the text says so rather than filling the gap.
